I thought that I should update the website since we don't use the phone much.
Looking outside this morning I think that our summer has come to an end, it’s only 1 degree as of Saturday sept 16 at
10am.
It sure was a nice summer however being busy and active on most every weekend.
The summer started off with the family reunion, (see pictures)
July 17th weekend we had our 9th annual BBQ and it was a total success, all of the vancouver group were over.
August long weekend was a trip to Battleford, to Deb and Danny's 25th wedding anniversary..that was an awesome good time.
In between we were invited to BBQ's and party's.
2 weeks after the long weekend Fran and I went on an holiday to Kaslo BC, which is in the Kootenays. We stayed there for 1
night and continued to kimberley where we spent one night in a german bar/hotel..what a neat little town this is....a must
see if you have never been there. we continued onto Forte Steel the next day. Fort Steel is a old gold mining town turned
museum...neat as well. We spent a 1/2 day there and then drove down to Fernie and spent the night. We were going to move on
to the next destination but it was raining and the forecast was poor so we made our way home. On the Saturday after we got
back a friend of ours got married..Congrats Debbie and Chris.
For my Birthday this year I requested a quiet one, we had Gail, Corey, Kelly and Jaime over. It was a nice visit.
September Long Weekend we hibernated and how nice that was.
now we are here at Sepetember 16th
